Modiano made the beautiful playing cards featuring double ended French face court cards. There are no pips or indices on the cards. The printing and art work is truly beautiful. While I am not as much of a historian as I would like my understanding is that this style of French face was used in Belgium, Genoa and Turkey. The cards are printed on Modiano's triplex card stock to give them an extra crisp feel. There are 52 cards plus 2 jokers and the size is approximately 3 1/2 X 2 1/4".
